SMTECH Eurasia Opens Its Doors: Istanbul Becomes the New Hub for Qualified Business Connections in the Sheet and Metal Processing Industry

Bringing together the most innovative brands in sheet and metal processing technologies, SMTECH Eurasia – Sheet and Metal Processing Technologies Fair opened its doors for the first time at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center between November 5–8, 2025.

Having established itself as a strong brand in Bursa for 21 years, the exhibition has moved to Istanbul this year, adopting a more selective and target-oriented trade fair model that focuses on qualified business connections. SMTECH Eurasia aims not to reach mass audiences but to bring together high-purchasing-power professionals who influence investment decisions in the sector, creating a value-driven business platform.

Qualified Exhibitors and Targeted Visitor Model

This year, SMTECH Eurasia hosts 80 distinguished brands under one roof. With a limited number of participants, the fair is designed to present innovative solutions from leading companies in the sector directly to professionals with strong purchasing power.

The exhibition’s strategic approach is centered on maximizing interaction between companies and visitors. Accordingly, more than 5,000 online professional visitor registrations from over 60 cities, over 450 international buyer applications, and more than 60 trade delegations organized through Tüyap’s international offices and agencies have been matched with verified business profiles.

Through this model, SMTECH Eurasia offers direct, trade-oriented meeting opportunities, emphasizing quality over quantity.

Istanbul’s Strategic Advantage

Istanbul’s industrial strength, international accessibility, and clustering in manufacturing industries provide a strategic advantage that adds a new dimension to SMTECH Eurasia. As one of Turkey’s largest industrial ecosystems, the city establishes itself as a new business hub for sheet and metal processing professionals.

The fair’s mission is not numerical growth, but rather to expand the industry’s trade volume and provide companies with stronger sales and business development opportunities.
